Hello friends,
We spring forward this weekend! While an extra hour of evening light is much appreciated and I can’t wait for the windows to be back open, there is suddenly more of a focus on areas that need to be freshened up and restocked. This is the time of year I actually want to clean things out because it feels good to start fresh. New season, better choices, less junk under the sink.
Our community has been sharing what they've switched to for more eco-friendly cleaning supplies and home staples. Better products, better shops, and a few places to buy staples that aren't Amazon or Target. This edition is all of that.
Here we go.

Here are a few things I have been digging this week:
🍕 Pizza Hut is bringing back its classic red-roof restaurants, and I AM HERE FOR IT. The booths, the salad bar, and those stained glass lamps bring back so many memories There's a reason people remember it fondly, and I think that reason is worth paying attention to.
🔐 I went deep on Elizebeth Smith Friedman this week. She cracked Nazi spy rings in WWII, testified against Al Capone, and then J. Edgar Hoover took credit for her most important case.
🔤 And if you need a new game: Glyph is a letter-stacking word puzzle. Simple and satisfying.
